8 Steps to Cultivating Your Authentic Power

“Life has something planned for you far greater then you can ever imagine” As Louise Hay and Cheryl Richardson say. This thought alone helped me get through the darkest times in my life.

8 Steps to Cultivating Your Authentic Power

When I was 27 I thought I knew it all.  I thought that acquiring money, status, having the perfect body, would make me love myself and I would feel valuable… But no matter how many thousands of dollars I made in one day, or how cut my abs were, or how many times I was on TV it was never enough.

I had always suffered from this belief “I am not enough” “I am unlovable” There is something wrong with me” and it was the driving force behind everything I did until it destroyed everything I was and had.

From a young age I started dieting because I thought I was fat.  In my teens I became obsessed with physical perfection as the answer to the void of my authentic self-love.  I spent my life pursuing happiness in an image, a dollar value, and an external distraction.

With this, I built a million dollar fitness business, sculpted out my “perfect body” was on TV all the time and was the expert personal trainer and health and fitness specialist in my city… and I was miserable inside.  My passion for health and fitness became boring, my passion for helping others flat-lined.  My joy for life and business turned into resentment, as I had never dealt with the truth inside of me.   That I had never loved myself, I didn’t know who I was, and I was still that scared little girl who wasn’t enough.

This foundation for my existence is what tore everything apart.  I started drinking heavily to anesthetize the pain of my lack of self worth and slowly I lost it all.  My business fell apart, my relationship, my sanity, my health, and all of my money and everything I had that gave me value was taken.   All of my deep seated fears of not being enough, that I was ugly, stupid, and a loser became real, and I was left to face the glaring truth of who I was.

That’s when a miracle happened.  I was forced to surrender.  I had to let go of everything I thought I was and go into my deep suppressed sorrow.  I spent about a year mourning the death of my “self” by drinking, crying, and just being my witness to my personal pain of grief, shame and self-hatred.  And during this time I started to pray, I started to ask for divine guidance and to be shown what to do.

This is when a shift happened.  I found people like Louise Hay, Simran Singh, Gabriel Bernstein, Wayn Dyer, Michael Beckwith and Eckhart Tolle.  I had nothing else to do but spiritual study and so it is what I spent about a year doing.  I listened and read their words while I rehabilitated my body, mind and spirit.  I developed a strong daily practice of binaural beats, daily affirmations, life visioning, affirmative prayer, subconscious programming with psycho cybernetics, The Silva method, and so many other types of meditations.  I started asking my angels for help, asking my higher self, asking my future self, asking all the time for my life to become a life of sacred service.

With this, I found what I was looking for: My authentic self.  I found a piece of my soul once again.  I had created space for my authentic self to emerge and start directing my life, instead of my ego.

I discovered everything I was looking for was already inside of me.. I just had to allow it to come forward with a practice.  I had to give it space to emerge within my life.

With this daily practice, I was able to overcome my addiction, depression, guilt, shame, and adrenal failure, IBS, weight gain, emotional eating, chronic fatigue and feeling like my life was holding me hostage.

I found joy, peace, power, source, and radiance and it was who I was all along.  I had clung to so many other facades out of fear, but once they were all pulled away I could ask the most powerful questions anyone could

“Who am I, what do I want, what is my purpose, what is real?”

What is real is that which never changes  What never changed in my life was my presence, my awareness, my being-ness.

This process taught me a very valuable truth.  That my life means nothing when I live for material possessions that will never love me back or an idealistic body image that is never attainable, allowing fear and lack to motivate me.

We are here for so much more and a part of this is unlocking our greatest pain or struggle to transmute into our life’s work.  They are our divine gifts, and where personal power lies.  Just behind their challenge.

How can you unlock them?  Here are 8 steps that are meant to help you with that:

1. Spend time in nature.

Do this with presence and use your breath.Make this a moving meditation of sensing, connecting, breathing and letting go of the labels in life.  Allow the wonder of the natural environment to take you over, there is so much wonder ever expanding, transforming, growing, and evolving. Be with beginners mind and breathe in this wonder.

2. Start living with intention.

Every day wake up and ask “What is my intention for this day?” If you woke up and are god, what would you want to create? If you had all the talent, passion, resources, power, time, and money in the world and you could do anything, what would it be?  Intention is the seed to all manifestation.  Set your intent, feel it, become it, align all your actions, thoughts, words and expressions with this intent throughout the whole day

3. Eat a clean diet.

Your body is your vehicle for great awakening and it needs to be fueled with high vibratory foods.Make sure to choose this wisely and eating with what I call your highest vision.  Hold your vision of your most powerful, luminous, radiant self in your mind and pull this energy into your food choices and the act of eating.  It can assist you in fueling your body for this vision to become your everyday experience of being.

4. Meditate, meditate, and meditate.

There are so many forms of meditation.Start with 5 mins a day and work up to 1 hour.  I meditate 2-3x a day and do chakra clearing and intention setting in the am, no mind in the afternoon, and gratitude meditations at night.  I also turn every walk into a moving meditation.

5. Ask for divine guidance.

All the time, every day.The universal law “Ask and it is given” is true, but you need to ask first.  Have empowering conversations with yourself and the universe by using questions like “ What would it take to____” or “How is it so easy for me to ____” instead of disempowering ones like “why is is it so hard to ___” Where you attention goes energy flows.

6. Focus on “how can I serve” instead of “what’s in it for me”

Our lives are meaningless without service. It is through service we heal, transform, and find what we are looking for.  It doesn’t matter what you do, it’s the presence and the intention behind the act.  I try and stay in “sacred service” with every action I do for others. It energizes me and gives me the power to perform mini miracles all day.  Hold this in your heart and allow for the universe to breathe new life into your daily actions.

7. Seek inspiration every day.

Immerse yourself in this, find teachers that most resonate with you like Simran Singh, Louise Hay, Gabriel Bernstein, Wayn Dyer Micheal Beckwith, Echkart tolle.Find them and listen to them every day!  Inspiration is where your spirit lies.  You don’t need more motivation or discipline, you need to be inspired= in-spirit and in breath with God.

8. Move every day.

Get your energy flowing and grow stronger. We are built to move and it is part of the healing process.  Dr Christian Northrup says it best “We heal with movement, sound, and tears” and being stagnant will inhibit energy flow.  Move your body, and move it with pleasure not self-punishment.   If it feels good, do it!

My addiction, grief, struggle and health problems were the best thing that happened to me because it forced me to heal, grow, and become the expert.  They have been my greatest gifts of insight, revelation, and service.    They are here to help us find our authentic self-love and creative expression so that we can share the universal unfolding through our unique talents, passions and abilities.  All we have to do is create the space and allow this to emerge within our being.  You are the answer, you are your beloved, you are the source, it is all in you.

Namaste :)

The trillion-frame-per-second camera

When a crystal lattice is excited by a laser pulse, waves of jostling atoms can travel through the material at close to one sixth the speed of light, or approximately 28,000 miles/second. Scientists now have a new tool to take movies of such superfast movement in a single shot.

Researchers from Japan have developed a new that can record events at a rate of more than 1-trillion-frames-per-second. That speed is more than one thousand times faster than conventional high-speed cameras. Called STAMP, for Sequentially Timed All-optical Mapping Photography, the new camera technology “holds great promise for studying a diverse range of previously unexplored complex ultrafast phenomena,” said Keiichi Nakagawa, a research fellow at the University of Tokyo, who worked to develop the camera with colleagues from an array of Japanese research institutions.

Conventional high-speed cameras are limited by the processing speed of their mechanical and electrical components. STAMP overcomes these limitations by using only fast, optical components.

Another optical imaging technique, called the pump-probe method, can create movies with an even higher frame rate than STAMP, but can only capture one frame at a time—limiting its use to processes that are exactly reproducible.

“Many physical and biological phenomena are difficult to reproduce,” said Nakagawa. “This inspired me to work on an ultrafast camera that could take multiple frames in a single shot.”

Nakagawa himself experienced the need for such a camera while he was a master’s student studying how acoustic shock waves changed living cells. Scientists believe mechanical stress, like that caused by acoustic waves, might increase bone and blood vessel growth, but they had no tools for capturing the dynamics of such a fast, transient event as a shock wave passing through a cell.

“Since there was no suitable technique, I decided to develop a new high-speed in my doctoral program,” Nakagawa said.

STAMP relies on a property of light called dispersion that can be observed in the way a misty sky splits sunshine into a rainbow of colors. Similarly, STAMP splits an ultrashort pulse of light into a barrage of different colored flashes that hit the imaged object in rapid-fire succession. Each separate color flash can then be analyzed to string together a moving picture of what the object looked like over the time it took the dispersed light pulse to travel through the device.

In the first iteration of STAMP, which the team described in a paper published in Nature Photonics in August 2014, the number of frames that the camera could take in a single shot was limited to six.

Currently, the team is constructing an improved STAMP system that can acquire 25 sequential images. Nakagawa believes the number of frames could eventually be increased to 100 with current technology.

Nakagawa notes that because STAMP operates on the assumption that all the differently colored daughter pulses interact with the imaged object in the same way, the camera should not be used to image samples whose optical properties change over the range of wavelengths STAMP uses.

Even given STAMP’s limitations, the technology has enormous potential, Nakagawa says. His team has already used it with image electronic motion and lattice vibrations in a crystal of lithium niobate and to observe how a laser focused onto a glass plate creates a hot, rapidly expanding plume of plasma.

Nakagawa notes that the camera could be used to explore a wide range of ultrafast phenomena for the first time, including the laser ignition of fusion, the phase transition of materials, and the dynamics of a Coulomb explosion, an event in which intense electromagnetic fields (for example from a narrow laser beam) can force a small amount of solid material to explode into a hot plasma of ionized atomic particles.

“I think it is important to note that there might be many potential applications of STAMP that I have not imagined,” Nakagawa said. “I hope more researchers will become interested in STAMP.”

Quality of Artemisinin-Containing Antimalarials in Tanzania’s Private Sector—Results from a Nationally Representative Outlet Survey

Ensuring that artemisinin-containing antimalarials (ACAs) are of good quality is a key component of effective malaria treatment. There are concerns that a high proportion of ACAs are falsified or substandard, though estimates are rarely based on representative data. During a nationally representative survey in Tanzania, ACAs were purchased from private retail drug outlets, and the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) was measured. All 1,737 ACAs contained the labeled artemisinin derivative, with 4.1% being outside the 85–115% artemisinin API range defined as acceptable quality. World Health Organization (WHO) prequalified drugs had 0.1 times the odds of being poor quality compared with non-prequalified ACAs for the artemisinin component. When partner components of combination therapies were also considered, 12.1% were outside the acceptable API range, and WHO prequalified ACAs had 0.04 times the odds of being poor quality. Although the prevalence of poor quality ACAs was lower than reported elsewhere, the minority of samples found to be substandard is a cause for concern. Improvements in quality could be achieved by increasing the predominance of WHO prequalified products in the market. Continued monitoring of quality standards is essential.

Quality of Antimalarials at the Epicenter of Antimalarial Drug Resistance: Results from an Overt and Mystery Client Survey in Cambodia

Widespread availability of monotherapies and falsified antimalarials is thought to have contributed to the historical development of multidrug-resistant malaria in Cambodia. This study aimed to document the quality of artemisinin-containing antimalarials (ACAs) and to compare two methods of collecting antimalarials from drug outlets: through open surveyors and mystery clients (MCs). Few oral artemisinin-based monotherapies and no suspected falsified medicines were found. All 291 samples contained the stated active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) of which 69% were considered good quality by chemical analysis. Overall, medicine quality did not differ by collection method, although open surveyors were less likely to obtain oral artemisinin-based monotherapies than MCs. The results are an encouraging indication of the positive impact of the country’s efforts to tackle falsified antimalarials and artemisinin-based monotherapies. However, poor-quality medicines remain an ongoing challenge that demands sustained political will and investment of human and financial resources.

Microsoft opens Windows 10 to Apple, Android apps

Apple or Android phones.

In a major strategy shift, a top executive told an audience of several thousand Wednesday that Microsoft will release new tools to help them quickly adapt the apps they’ve built for Apple or Android gadgets, so they will work on smartphones, PCs and other devices that use the new Windows 10 operating system coming later this year.

On the first day of the company’s annual software conference, other executives showed off more uses for Microsoft’s holographic “augmented reality” headset, the HoloLens—although it’s not yet for sale. They also announced the official name for a new web browser, called “Edge,” that they promised will be faster and more useful than the Internet Explorer that’s been a Microsoft mainstay for 20 years.

All those initiatives are tied to the impending release of Windows 10, the centerpiece of Microsoft’s ambitions to regain the stature it commanded when Windows-based PCs dominated the computing world. Today, after losing ground to smartphones and tablets that run software from rivals Apple and Google, Microsoft wants to make Windows 10 the universal software for PCs, phones and other Internet-connected gadgets.

“Windows 10 represents a new generation of Windows, built for an era of more personal computing,” CEO Satya Nadella said during a keynote speech, adding that today’s consumers and corporate workers want to have the same experience when they are using a variety of devices.

Although Microsoft has previously shown off some features of Windows 10, it’s hoping to enlist an army of software developers as allies in its campaign to build enthusiasm for the new release. The company is using the three-day conference, called Build, to demonstrate more features and app-building tools, with an emphasis on mobile devices as well as PCs.

“Our goal is to make Windows 10 the most attractive development platform ever,” vice president Terry Myerson said.

To win over consumers who use competing software, Microsoft needs to persuade outside developers, who create software for consumers and corporate clients, it’s worth their time to create new apps and programs for Windows 10.

“Getting developer buy-in is absolutely the crucial thing,” said J.P. Gownder, a tech industry analyst at Forrester Research. He said Microsoft has struggled with a “chicken-and-egg” problem, in which developers have been reluctant to build mobile apps for Windows because relatively few people use Windows phones and tablets.

Currently, there are more than 1.4 million apps for Android phones and about the same for Apple devices, while there are only a few hundred thousand apps that work on Windows phones and tablets.

Microsoft’s move to help developers adapt their Apple and Android apps for Windows 10 is a major change from the past, when each company maintained rigid differences in their software platforms. Microsoft is also hoping to entice developers by promising that apps for Windows 10 will work equally well on PCs, mobile gadgets, Xbox game consoles and even the HoloLens.

The company has another big carrot to wave in front of those developers: Microsoft has already said it will release Windows 10 as a free upgrade to people who now have PCs or other gadgets running the previous two versions of Windows, provided they upgrade in the coming year. That could help create a huge new audience of Windows 10 users in a relatively short time, Gownder said.

Myerson predicted there will be a billion devices using Windows 10 within the next two to three years. Apps for all those devices will be distributed through a single Windows app store. Myerson also said Microsoft will partner with wireless carriers so consumers who lack credit cards can pay for apps on their phone bill—a popular method in developing nations.

Microsoft has not said exactly when Windows 10 is coming, although some were hoping the company would announce a date on Wednesday.

Since he became CEO last year, Nadella has been presiding over a major overhaul at Microsoft. He has redesigned some of Microsoft’s most popular programs for mobile users and invested in new “cloud-computing” services, in which businesses pay to use software that’s housed in Microsoft’s data centers.

Microsoft announced several new initiatives Wednesday for its Azure cloud-computing service, which has emerged as a fast-growing rival to a popular cloud business operated by Amazon. Microsoft is releasing new programming tools for Azure clients to create programs for computers that run Apple and Linux , as well as those that run Windows.

Hypoglycemia: the Unspoken Threat of Diabetes

The morning I began this post about the recent American Association of Diabetes Educators’ (AADE) survey that reveals many people with diabetes do not know what hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) is — I nearly gave it to myself.

Hypoglycemia is defined as blood sugar below 70 mg/d. (3.9 mmol/l). For people with diabetes who take insulin or another glucose (blood sugar) lowering medication – whether you have Type 1, Type 2, Gestational diabetes or LADA — there is a ’round-the-clock threat of your blood sugar dropping below 70.

For the first time in my nearly 43 years of living with diabetes I mixed up my two insulins. I take a long-acting insulin via an insulin pen and a mealtime insulin with vial and syringe. Two days ago I got an insulin pen for my mealtime insulin to see if I preferred it.

Without thinking, I injected eight units (my long-acting dose) of my mealtime insulin instead of 2 units (my breakfast dose). I immediately drank a quarter cup of maple syrup to counteract the expected drop in blood sugar (the rise you see to over 300 mg/dl (16.6 mmol/l) is the quick action of the maple syrup). The subsequent drop was the insulin kicking in.

cgmIf I hadn’t had the maple syrup, that more than 200-point drop could have killed me. Until my blood sugar stabilized within normal range, I watched it on my CGM and checked it on my meter every half hour.

Luckily I was able to save myself because I knew what to do. Unfortunately, too many people living with diabetes, had they made this same mistake, may not have been as lucky. Severe hypoglycemia, blood sugar below 40 mg/dl (2.2 mmol/l), can cause convulsions, seizures, a loss of consciousness and death.

Survey Results

Of the 1,000 survey participants, people with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, one third did not know what hypoglycemia is and 42 percent couldn’t describe it. Among those who could, many did not know how to prevent or treat it.

If you think few people experience hypoglycemia, think again. Sixty percent of the study participants had experienced hypoglycemia and it took one third of them to the emergency room for treatment.

Almost half, 49 percent, did not know that a simple remedy, like taking glucose tablets, could help raise their blood sugar back to normal levels.

The survey results indicate that we’re failing people with diabetes not teaching them about hypoglycemia, and I see it as a shameful omission by healthcare providers.

Many health professionals delay putting patients on insulin, which might better manage their blood sugar and help them avoid complications, because of the time investment necessary to educate patients about using insulin — and the fear of a hypoglycemic event without that education.

At the same time, many people with diabetes keep their blood sugar unhealthfully high for fear of being rendered helpless by hypoglycemia.

Citing the lack of education around hypoglycemia, Dr. Evan Sisson, associate professor at the Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Pharmacy and certified diabetes educator, told me over the past decade practitioners’ focus has been on correcting hyperglycemia, high blood sugar.

Accordingly, rates of hospital admission for hyperglycemia have significantly decreased. Unfortunately, Sisson says the rates of hypoglycemia have increased by almost 25 percent.

AADE and Sanofi U.S., who supported the study, say they’re working to raise awareness about hypoglycemia, but it can’t happen fast enough.

Don’t wait for your doctor to talk to you about hypoglycemia. Ask him or her if the medication you take puts you at risk for low blood sugar. If it does, ask what you need to know to recognize, prevent and treat hypoglycemia.

Sex, Love and Oxytocin – The Full Spectrum Connection

Within our brain there is a code that tells us what we need to do to be happy, healthy, wealthy, glowing and living within our life’s purpose. When we do those things, and we experience things such as social interaction, pair bonding and orgasm, our endocrine system responds by releasing oxytocin.

Oxytocin – the bliss hormone – is the master hormone that triggers different functions within the glands of the body. When we activate oxytocin, we activate all the different glands within the oxytocin feedback loop, and we start experiencing the benefits of this bliss frequency move through our body and our life. As a result, we gravitate more towards the things that make us feel more love, make us feel more beautiful, more healthy, more satisfied, more abundant.

Activating the Oxytocin Loop

Oxytocin has been found to be conducive to pair-bonding as it generates feelings of love and trust, and equanimity. It also lowers stress levels as it reducescortisol levels. If we have oxytocin flowing through our body, and our life, we live in less fear, experience more synchronicity (“luck”), have less guards, and feel more comfortable, relaxed, and able to speak our truth. When oxytocin levels are high, we don’t feel stressed or depressed. Because we feel happy and loved, we don’t reach out for “comfort” foods and other unhealthy things that give us instant gratification. We even begin to look better.

Within the body system is a full octave of glands and organs that resonate on a certain frequency. To activate oxytocin, the crown frequency, it is important to activate all the glands within the body so that they are all functioning in perfect harmony. By developing an intimacy with our body’s glands and their functions, we can give ourselves access to their sensations and trigger the energetic feedback loop that creates more love, and supports our physical health.

Initially, when we turn the focus of the lens into the physical body, we develop a simple awareness of their sensations. As we go deeper into that experience, our relationship with their sensations becomes more sophisticated, and in turn, the mind becomes more intelligent at interpreting those sensations. Over time, by learning to bring the flow of oxytocin into our body and our experience, we master living in that feel-good, holistic frequency of harmony and well being.

The most important thing to understand about oxytocin is that by itself, it is a hormone that fires the functions of many other glands. It is a part of circuitry. If the circuit is failing in some area of the body, the healthy holistic life that is coded in our bodies cannot be properly manifested. In these casesdetoxing, inner work, DNA re-coding, and re-training the body circuit is needed to re-introduce the body to its natural frequencies. In essence, we are learning to communicate with our body’s energy centers in a very intimate way, and to do that we need to relearn the way of the “natural” flow of our body and our hormones.

Oxytocin and Sexual Union

Oxytocin by itself is considered to make us indiscriminate in its bonding influence. Under its influence, we may feel a bond towards “any” person that we are sexually or even physically intimate with. So, like all-powerful things, before we learn to use it we need to recognize the need for caution. Without mastering these sensations we run the risk of using them in ways that can ultimately be harmful to us. In my experience, this is especially true if there was sexual trauma in childhood where natural boundaries and paradigms were violated or not developed. We are also programmed (to some extent) by unassuming influences like “Hollywood romances”, which paint a very idealized notion of what “love” is, so a reality check is always advisable.

At its deepest level, sexual union is a spiralling together of energy, much like strands of DNA spiral together. But the first step to it is to first be in sexual union with you. Mastery starts with yourself.

When the “soul’s code” triggers the master hormone, it triggers all the rest of the glands – provided they are healthy enough to receive the messages and are in turn able to release their contribution to the hormonal feedback loop. We have to be able to find and integrate this harmony within ourselves, with the full LumenOctave activated, before we can truly experience pure sexual union with anyone else.

When we live in the full bliss vibration of our body, with all our glands working in harmony with each other, we become fully ‘married’ with our self. We learn to live in alignment with our natural code, leaving behind any pre-conceived paradigms of romantic “love”. (Esoteric texts refer to this as being “complete within yourself”.) As we develop an intimacy with our body’s bliss frequency, new sensations open up to us, new vibrations activate, and we get to know our Self in a new and intimate way. Over time, we can evolve further and play with the infinite octaves above and below our body’s core energy centers.

When we feel ready and willing, and we share the bliss of sexual union, we experience a fusion with another body that has their own unique vibration. Together, the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts. The union we experience when activated beings come together in this way opens up endless opportunities for energetic expansion and evolution. For that reason, it helps to understand how the body’s energy centers interact when we experience that full-spectrum connection with another person.

Full Spectrum Connection Starts at the Top

The Hypothalamus – Does your life purpose line up?

Experiencing a full spectrum connection with another being is very similar to the way you activate your own LumenOctave within the body; it starts with merging your soul with the crown center frequencies, and getting to know what your life’s purpose is. The big picture. So, when you merge with another, your Crown center is the first place you want to meet.

Pineal Gland – Are you a mental/intuitive match?

Moving down the body, you come to to the Pineal Gland. Are you able to see eye-to-eye? Do you have mental harmony? Are you an intellectual match? Do you read each other’s thoughts and mind? Do you know how the other is feeling even when no words are spoken? Can you intuitively pick up on subtle cues on each other?

Sex, Love and Oxytocin – The Full Spectrum Connection - Chakras

The Nervous System – Do you move with each other’s groove?

Although not a gland it is important in disseminating electrical impulses through the body that facilitate the functioning of the endocrine system. Here we investigate how our physical energy interacts together. Are you both active? Are you both wanting to live an active lifestyle, or more sedentary? People have different levels of their natural energy. You need to figure out whether the state of your natural physical energy is compatible. Otherwise, if one person is extremely active, and another one prefers activities that don’t require much physical assertion, you might end up in relationship where you don’t spend much time together or doing things that aren’t enjoyable for both.

Thyroid Gland – Have you learnt the art of “over-communicating” yet?

Next stop is the Thyroid Gland where you see if you can communicate. Can you talk about your deepest and most intimate desires? Can you talk about these issues with one another? Do you truly understand each other? Can you get to an understanding on things, even if you disagree? Do you have a degree of psychic-empathic connection with each other, where you feel like you understand and communicate with each other beyond what is basic?

Thymus Gland – Are you friends?

Do you love each other? Do you feel the friendship with this person? Do you love each other as friends? Is your partner someone that you enjoy spending time with? Do you enjoy activities together? Do you feel freedom and sovereignty in your relationship to “be who you are”? Are you looking forward to simply being with them, laughing and enjoying their company?

If not, my recommendation is do not move forward. If there is a gap, emptiness, a hole – you will trip over them at some point in your relationship. Therefore, it is important to work on each of these levels before you move on to the next one.

Pancreas – Will you make it in the physical world?

After the Thymus Gland, you move to the Pancreas – the physical world. Are you stronger together in this world? Does your power become greater as a result of merging with this being? Or does this merger diminish your power? This is where a lot of relationships fail, and a lot of people make compromises in this area. This is the first indication of whether you are going to make it in the physical world – if you expand each other’s power.

If you realize that you are making each other better and encourage each other to be more of who you truly are; if together you are creating more power, mobilization, dynamism, and more activity in the world as a couple – then yes! Great, nicely done. You may have to work on it to really turn on the lights in certain areas. You many need to negotiate and help each other learn, because your vision from your octave will be able to see things within them, and their vision from their octave can see things within you. So, at this point you are helping each other. You can spend time tweaking and fixing because by now it is worth making the effort.

Ovaries/Prostate – How is your emotional connection?

Then you are going into the Sacral Region, and see whether you make each other more beautiful. Together, are you generating a vibration of family, community, beauty, and bliss? Are you creating harmony in your external environment? Do you have harmony with each other’s friends? Are you a kind of couple that feels like that in order to be together you need to isolate yourself because either you or your partner has too much insecurity? If they can’t deal with you being around your friends, it’s typically a major sacral-center level issue that can cripple you in social settings.

Root/Anal Glands – The garden is safe to enter!

Finally, after this journey through all the glands the oxytocin loop is at the Root center, a place where you are ready to merge your physical bodies. By, now both parties in the equations are feeling safe secure and sober. You have done your due diligence and you have every reason to feel proud to have achieved mastery not only within yourself but also by merging your full spectrum with another. Here you get to explore “what happens” when your deepest bliss instinct physically touches their bliss instinct. Your full octave comes together when you touch your bliss in a sexual, physical way. And when this happens, you have exponentially evolved, and exponentially expanded your choices and combinations. Your creative potential has magnified together, encompassing all the body’s glands/energy centers and the variations that the two of you create.

We at the Lumen Octave recommend you strive to create seven gland connections with your inner circles, friends, community members etc., and reserve your full octave/circuit connection for your divine partner; a lover that can meet you in your completeness for both of you to experience the gift of deep intimate and fulfilling soul-level connections. When you have both played with this expanded pallet, it becomes your choice on how you will co-create the next part of your journey.

This is how to control someone else’s arm with your brain .

Greg Gage wants to make brain science accessible to all, and as his way of doing this, he created an inexpensive brain control DIY-kit to take away someone else’s free will.. (No biggie.) By connecting two persons to the device, one subject is able to control the arm of the other by simple brainwaves.

This is hard to believe, and sounds kind of like modern voodoo, right? Well, it’s not a parlour trick; it really works! You have to see it to believe it, so definitely check out the video below.

Companies Begin Planting Microchips Under Employees’ Skin

I am sure by now, you have all heard of the RFID microchip. Microchips have been around for some time now, but the RFID chips and other under the skin implants have only recently become so widespread.

Companies Begin Planting Microchips Under Employees Skin

Talk about taking your work home with you! A high-tech office in Sweden is implanting its workers with computer chips under the skin in order for them to access the building, a move which ‘biohackers’ says is preparation for a dystopian future when governments and corporations adopt the same technology.

The Epicenter building in Stockholm, which hosts start-up companies as well as the likes of Google and Microsoft, utilizes microchip technology to allow staff to open doors, interact with smartphones, as well as operate equipment.

BBC reporter Rory Cellan-Jones volunteered to be microchipped for the story and had a chip injected into his hand.

According to Hannes Sjoblad, chief ‘disruption officer’ at the office development, the chip will also eventually be used to pay for food in the canteen and replace passwords to access computers.

Sjoblad said people should welcome the chip because it would make their lives “easier,” while also warning that one day governments and corporations could mandate that people be microchipped.

“We want to be able to understand this technology before big corporates and big government come to us and say everyone should get chipped — the tax authority chip, the Google or Facebook chip,”he said.

In a separate profile piece, Sjoblad seems more welcoming of the idea of everybody being chipped, commenting, “Years ago there was fear over vaccinations and now it seems perfectly normal to have cells injected into us. That is an early example of bio-hacking.”

“We’ve been putting chips in animals for 20 years,” he added.

People being implanted with microchips as a “convenient” way of getting access to secure areas is by no means a new technology.

In 2004, a BBC News reporter also got microchipped for a story about a nightclub in Barcelona where customers use the chip to access VIP areas and pay for drinks.

Also in 2004, Mexico’s attorney general and at least 160 employees in his office were injected with rice grain-sized chips in order to access secure areas of the building.

In January last year, Former DARPA director and now Google executive Regina Dugan promoted the idea of an edible “authentication microchip,” while Google engineering director Scott Huffman says that within five years people will have microphones attached to their ceilings and microchips embedded in their brains in order to perform quicker internet searches.

A 2012 CNN article which speculated about the future of transhumanism predicted that within 75 years, everyone on the planet would have a brain chip implant that would allow their behavior to be controlled by a third party.

The release of Apple’s new ‘Apple Pay’ system last year, which utilizes biometric fingerprints to allow users to make purchases, also prompted fears about the ‘mark of the beast’, a bible verse in Revelations which predicts that “no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark,” which many Christians ascribe to biometric payment technology and implantable microchips.

According to inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil, an icon for transhumanists, smartphones will be implanted in the brain within 20 years.

In his 1999 book The Age of Spiritual Machines, Kurzweil successfully predicted the arrival of the iPad, Kindle, iTunes, You Tube and on demand services like Netflix.

By 2019, Kurzweil forecasts that wearable smartphones will be all the rage and that by 2029, computers and cellphones will be implanted in people’s eyes and ears, creating a “human underclass” who refuse the chip that will be viewed by others as backwards and unproductive because they refuse to acquiesce to the singularity.

What To Know About Sperm Banks

Sperm banks allow couples all across the world to have children, but there’s something very important that these sperm banks aren’t telling you..

In 1952, a doctor in Iowa froze and re-animated sperm cells, and a year later, three babies were born from thawed-out sperm. This marked a significant turning point for couples who were struggling with fertility issues, and soon after the first sperm bank was created. Since then, in-vitro fertilization (IVF) has become a $60 billion-a-year industry. According to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, in-vitro fertilization accounted for 1.5 percent of all births in the U.S. in 2012. That’s about 3.95 million babies!

According to Time magazine, 80 percent of sperm donors do it for the cash, with donors getting as much as $100 per deposit. However, if you’re looking to make some quick cash, sperm donation might not be that easy. There are over 500 sperm banks in the U.S. and some require the donors to undergo an intense screening process before they can become registered donors to their bank. In California, for example, only 5 to 10 percent of men end up qualifying to be donors. Initial samples are tested for motility, morphology, cell count, and a variety of different physiological factors.

Once potential donors pass these physical tests, they then must undergo a family medical history review and pass tests screening for drugs and STI’s. Some banks require donors to undergo a full screening for genetic disorders like cystic fibrosis and other blood-related disorders. Because they’re privately run, and the laws vary from state to state, some banks have some requirements that might seems a bit superficial, or even discriminatory. Some banks only accept donors that are 5-foot 11-inches (1.8m) or taller. Most only accept sperm from heterosexual, white men (although there are a handful of banks geared specifically towards gay, and racially diverse donors). Some will even pay a premium to Ivy league-educated donors.
